Forbes Communications Council member company WALT Wines, one of the leading pinot noir producers in the world, has introduced a new look and a remodeled tasting room experience to go with its modern brand.
Owned by Kathryn Walt Hall, former United States Ambassador to Austria during the Clinton Administration, and husband Craig Hall, WALT Wines is centered around high-end pinot noir from distinct vineyards spanning 1,000 miles up and down California and Oregon’s Pacific coasts. Forbes Communications Council member Lisa Covey is the in-house publicist at WALT Wines and HALL Wines.
With a newly revamped tasting room located at Sonoma Square and a new look on its wine bottles, WALT has arrived in the world of luxury pinot noir. Since its first vintage in 2010, WALT has earned over 80 scores of 90 points or above, positioning itself as a major competitor in the pinot world.
To continue this momentum, WALT has introduced a luxury food and wine pairing experience called Root 101. This premier pinot noir tasting highlights distinct vineyard voices demonstrating unique character and personality. Guests are offered an exceptional, educational wine tasting experience involving a tasting flight of five wines from the WALT collection, each paired with a selection of pinot-centered small bites prepared by a Sonoma eatery. The 60-minute experience is by reservation only.
