Will & Grain Hosts Conquer for Good Conference Focused on Social Enterprise
This spring, Will & Grain, led by CEO and Co-Founder Mark O’Renick, held its Conquer for Good conference, a half-day event focused on sharing the success stories and efforts of leaders and innovators building a thriving ecosystem of social enterprise in Kansas City. According to Mark, “Conquer for Good is designed to showcase the many facets of social innovation that drives a greater balance between purpose and profitability.”
“It’s no longer enough to solely focus on making money without a conscious effort to have a meaningful positive impact in the work we do,” he said. “It’s a fundamental change in society that’s blurring the lines between nonprofit, for-profit and government business models, and leading to new solutions to the problems we face in our world.”
The conference’s topics included energy consumption, employment opportunities, community innovation, investment and funding sources for social causes, among other subjects.

ArtVersion Interactive Wins Three Vega Digital Awards
ArtVersion Interactive Agency, where Goran Paunovic is principal and creative director, recently won three Vega Digital Awards. The Vega Digital Awards “recognize and honors the outstanding performance, talent and effort of the best digital and creative professionals, web developers, web designers and web agencies around the world.” ArtVersion is a Chicago-based full-service agency.
ArtVersion won two of the Arcturus awards for the branding, web design, UI/UX design work for the Naturoco and one Centauri award for branding, web design UI/UX design work for the L30 brand. The awards are administered and judged by International Awards Associate (IAA) and a panel of internationally-esteemed creative professionals.
“We at ArtVersion are extremely proud of this industry recognition and we are thankful for the initial nomination and allowing us to participate in the 2016 Vega Digital Awards,” Goran said. “(The) team at ArtVersion works wholeheartedly, with full commitment and sincerity on every client project we undertake at our agency.
