Arash Asli Reports a New Partnership for Yocale
Arash Asli, CEO of Yocale is pleased to announce a new partnership with internet marketing firm iMatrix, which became official on May 24, 2017. With Yocale’s online booking, scheduling and business management tools and iMatrix’s beauty industry-focused web marketing services, current clients of both companies will be able to grow their businesses by building effective websites and allowing customers to schedule services online with Yocale’s customizable platform. “In partnership with iMatrix we are closing the gap between online website visits and revenue,” said Asli in a recent press release. “We are taking online leads and turning them into actual revenue generating appointments.”
Bojan Simic Announces New Member of the Board at HYPR Corp.
Bojan Simic, CTO & Co-Founder of HYPR Corp., is excited to report that Nicholas M. Donofrio has become the company’s first independent member of the HYPR Board of Directors. Donofrio brings with him 44 years of experience as Executive Vice President of Innovation and Technology at IBM. HYPR Corp. CEO George Avetisov said in a recent press release: “Nick is truly a captain of industry. Tech Lab Service Excellence Award Goes to Jivox Corp’s Ketaki Rao
Ketaki Rao, Vice President of Product for Jivox Corp, revealed that she received a 2017 Tech Lab Service Excellence Award from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Rao was recognized for her efforts in defining the Dynamic Content Ad Standard in conjunction with IAB. According to Rao, programmatic buying and selling of advertising has made media buying a data-driven decision, and advertising industry leaders predict that the next major revolution will be with data-driven creative. The new standard categorizes ads by content, describing and sorting all contained assets, and can thus measure ads for better personalization and media optimization. “It will serve as a foundation to a new era of dynamic ads, which have quickly become a big game-changing innovation in the advertising and digital marketing world,” said Diaz Nesamoney, founder and CEO of Jivox, who also served as co-chair of the IAB’s Tech Lab Dynamic Content Ad Standards Committee.
Catalant Secures $41 Million Funding
Brian Morgan, CTO at Catalant (formerly known as HourlyNerd), is proud to report that his company has secured $41 million in new funding, including debt financing and a Series D venture capital round. This brings the firm’s to-date fundraising total to $73 million, with Catalant reportedly expecting to see $50 million in revenue this year, based on recent sales. The Boston-based startup focuses on matching businesses with freelance consultants using an algorithm that considers such variables as contractors’ past performance and how clients interact with the site.
