Campus Advantage, helmed by President and CEO Mike Peter, has broken ground on an exciting student housing community in downtown Pittsburgh, PA. The 10-story building, The Bridge on Forbes, will accommodate 489 beds in 197 studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments which will be available to students of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.

This is Campus Advantage’s second partnership with the real estate investment strategy and development firm. Campus Advantage, an Austin-based firm, has been successfully creating housing communities like these since 2003.

The units will come fully furnished with rich amenities including a fitness center, secure garage and courtyard spaces, and the structure will house retail spaces on the retail corridor. Following construction, Campus Advantage will continue to manage the property. The Bridge on Forbes will open its doors to new students in 2020.

“We are thrilled to work with Pinecrest to offer this type of purpose-built student housing project just steps from the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University campuses,” said David Pierce, Executive Vice President of Development at Campus Advantage.
