Coy + Works on Inaugural Summit for the First Ladies of the African Union
Coy + – the multi-disciplined digital strategy firm led by Managing Partner Jen Coy – is working on its hallmark project of 2017, the inaugural Summit for the First Ladies of the African Union. The summit is supported by the United Nations Association hosted during the General Assembly of the United Nations.
“The summit bridges the gap for companies seeking to do business in Africa, specifically those looking to introduce a product or service to these unique markets that seek partnerships with the various development initiatives spearheaded by the individual First Ladies,” Jen wrote. “This impacts the sector – encouraging competitors (small/medium sized firms) to seek an international footprint and mingle their talents with social good. This impacts the community – allowing businesses the opportunity to connect with stakeholders across the world. This impacts the world – we aren’t selling superfluous fancy sneakers in new countries. We’re connecting groundbreaking technologies and services to markets that need and deserve them, with the help of caring leaders across the world.”
Logical Media Group and The Ocean Agency Co-Host Presentation at Google Office
The Ocean Agency and Logical Media Group co-hosted a presentation at Google’s Chicago office this summer. The digital breakfast focused on search engine marketing and how a pay-per-click campaign can enhance an existing SEO campaign.
“Our material was around the knowledge you gain about your customer’s buying behavior and the control you have with where and how you display your content when running a paid search campaign,” CEO Chris O’Neill wrote in a blog post. “There is a bit of a stigma out there that when you have good SEO, that paying for search advertising is either pointless or can even potentially take away from your organic traffic by cannibalizing some of your organic visitors by having them come through paid search.”

Consumer Acquisition Recognized as a Facebook Ad Tech Partner and Creative Platform Partner
Consumer Acquisition has been recognized by Facebook as both an Ad Tech partner and a Creative Platform partner, which makes the company Facebook’s only partner to offer an end-to-end solution for Facebook user acquistion. Consumer Acquisition’s Creative Marketplace delivers creative innovation and testing at scale for Facebook and Instagram advertisers. “After submitting a creative brief, advertisers can choose the creatives they like, pay only for performance and launch on Facebook with a single button click,” according to a statement from the company.
“Many of today’s Facebook advertisers use in-house design resources for their Facebook ads, and find those teams are either too busy producing assets for games and apps, or are not good at creating Facebook ads that perform well,” Consumer Acquisition CEO Brian Bowman said in a statement. “They end up creating poor performing creative or don’t have enough bandwidth to develop the volume of creative needed to maintain profitable advertising at scale. Our Creative Marketplace offers a global network of experienced designers and video editors to help companies scale the volume and quality of their Facebook advertising.”
