In the past month, Forbes Technology Council members have shared their expertise in books and interviews, launched new products and been recognized for their achievements.
Below, we highlight five members and their big news.
Bojan Simic Featured in Fox 5 Story and HYPR Corp. Raises $8M in Series A Funding Round
Bojan Simic, CTO and co-founder of secure mobile payments and authentication company HYPR Corp., was recently featured on Fox 5 New York in a story about the iPhone X’s Face ID technology. The story aired on Fox 5 New York on September 13 in the 10 p.m. ET time slot.
“The risks are the same as with the fingerprint sensor,” he said. “Apple particularly takes great care in terms of how they store the user’s biometric data.”

On October 3, HYPR Corp. announced that it raised $8M in a Series A funding round led by RRE Ventures. The round also included participation from previous investors RTP Ventures, Boldstart Ventures and Mesh Ventures, which had participated in its strategic seed round. As a function of this RRE-led round, industry veteran James Robinson IV of RRE Ventures will join the HYPR Board of Directors.
Their commitments bring total funding to $12.8 million to date, which will enable HYPR to dramatically accelerate deployment of its next-gen security solutions.

Christine Nasserghodsi Featured in Radio Interview on AI
When asked about the implications of allowing students to go at different paces in the same classroom, Nasserghodsi said: “Effective teachers have always differentiated their approaches to learning based on a student’s preparedness as well as the student’s learning style. Artificial intelligence provides us with some incredible data and data tools to be able to support and deeply personalize learning to each individual student.”

Jedidiah Yueh Publishes Book, “Disrupt or Die,” Sharing His Expertise
On October 10, Jedidiah Yueh published his first book, “Disrupt or Die: What the World Needs to Learn from Silicon Valley to Survive the Digital Era.” Yeuh is the founder and executive chairman of dynamic data platform Delphix.
Says Yueh: “I started as an English major and became a serial software founder and CEO. I believe it’s easier than ever to drive disruption. Over 20 years, I’ve collected and implemented a series of frameworks for innovation that helped me drive more than $4 billion in software sales. You can get these frameworks in my first book.”
