Universum Global Launches Access Social
On October 11 at the 2017 HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas, Universum Global launched Access Social, the first social media analytics and listening tool of its kind. Jonas Barck is CMO at Universum, the global leader in employer branding. Developed for the employer branding industry, Access Social alleviates two of the biggest concerns employers have when it comes to recruiting the best talent: what stories to tell and how those posts will be perceived.
So, how does it work? Access Social takes career-related social media posts from employers’ Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram pages and puts them in front of talent. The talent assesses what they think the employer is trying to say based on Universum’s 40-attribute framework of employer attractiveness. For example, if an employer wants to be seen as having a flexible work environment, they will post content on Facebook with this perception in mind. Access Social assesses whether the content was associated with flexibility or not, as well as how similar posts from competitors were perceived.
