Forbes Real Estate Council Member Companies Reach New Milestones
See who's sharing good news to kick off the new year.
It’s only January, but 2018 is sure to be an exceptional year for members of the Forbes Real Estate Council, if early signs are any indication. Below, we highlight two members and their big news.
Situs Announces Second Recent Acquisition, Upping the Ante on Service to the Real Estate Industry
Industry leader Situs, which provides tech and strategy solutions for real estate businesses, is expanding for the second time since 2017. The firm, where Forbes Real Estate Council member Steven Bean serves as Executive Managing Director, announced in early January its plans to acquire MountainView Financial Solutions by the end of the month.
The deal swiftly follows the acquisition of The Collingwood Group in 2017 and helps shore up Situs’ status and capabilities within the dynamic real estate finance market, while positioning the company for success in the burgeoning industry of fintech.
According to a press release, “Situs is committed to continuously investing in the people, processes and technology that will ensure that the company is always providing the highest levels of service and an unparalleled range of risk management and workflow solutions.

VHT Studios Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Exciting Acquisition
Two pieces of good news have Brian Balduf, CEO and co-founder, and his team at VHT Studios celebrating this month. VHT Studios, the largest real estate photography firm in the U.S., commemorates its twentieth year in business in 2018, as well as its acquisition of the photography business of Utah-based Circlepix.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Circlepix clients and photographers to our growing company,” Balduf said in a press release. “With the combined talent base, we will be able to provide more services to more real estate professionals across the United States.”
Noting part of what makes VHT unique, Balduf added, “Our proprietary platform for the production and management of visual marketing assets helps both photographers and real estate professionals get the best return on their efforts and investments.”
