In this video clip, Catherine Mattice Zundel, president of Civility Partners, shares that the key to solving workplace bullying is fostering a positive company culture and work environment. If company leaders neglect to focus on culture, they can end up with a work environment of bullying and negativity. Leaders are responsible for dictating the culture, but HR plays a big part in driving it as well. Managers can encourage positive culture within their own teams. In the end, everyone is responsible for culture.
“If you have a positive workplace culture, then there’s no room for that kind of behavior.”
