NuID Closes Seed Funding Round
Nolan Smith announced that NuID recently closed its equity seed funding round. With the support of lead investor Jemison Investment, as well as participation from 8VC and both new and existing strategic angel investors, the company raised $2.5 million at a pre-money valuation of $20 million. This round follows a convertible note fundraising in early 2017.
Yonomi Named IoT Development Tool of the Year
Kent Dickson announced that Yonomi has been named "IoT Development Tool of the Year" by the IoT Breakthrough Awards. More than 3,500 companies from around the world were nominated for the 2019 awards program, which recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global Internet-of-Things (IoT) market.

HSTpathways Gains New Clients and Accolades
Tom Hui shared that over the past month, multiple health systems and some of the largest ambulatory surgery center (ASC) organizations have selected HSTpathways software. Two of HST’s new clients include Community Health Systems, one of the largest hospital organizations in the nation, and Monterey Peninsula Surgery Centers. In addition, based on interviews with clients across the nation, HST was named KLAS Category Leader for Ambulatory Surgical Center Solutions in the “2018 Best in KLAS: Software & Services” report.
QA Mentor Recognized by Several Organizations
Ruslan Desyatnikov announced that QA Mentor's US and Indian divisions have been appraised by the CMMI Institute at CMMI SVC+SSD Level 3. In addition, CIO Review Magazine included QA Mentor among 10 Most Promising Software Testing Consulting/Services Companies in 2018. Finally, QA Mentor was included in the list of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the US by The Technology Headlines magazine.
