In her first 14 years of life, A. Margot Brisky was adopted, experienced several forms of abandonment, sexual assault, served 32 days in juvenile detention, became dependent on substance misuse, was promiscuous, was failing as a high school freshman, and much more. Choosing to no longer be defined by her circumstances, she chose to become who she needed and started college at 17. A. Margot graduated Summa cum Laude at the age of 19 and began her professional journey as a Master’s student and University Professor. Over the last 9 years, she has studied the philosophies of social psychology and recently resigned from her EdD program to focus on making significant impacts through her company and nonprofit. A. Margot is an Identity Development and Resilience Specialist, Instructional Designer, and Professional Accountability Partner. Through her resilience-based training and development company, ELDA4U, LLC, A. Margot works with groups, companies, organizations, and individuals across the United States and several countries to guide people to embrace and overcome adverse childhood and life experiences. She also founded a nonprofit organization, DiscoverHer Worldwide, INC., whose mission is to bridge generational gaps between formerly incarcerated women and guide them through learning how to take action in their lives. A. Margot has most recently become 2019-2021 Membership Chair for the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals. She is an Executive Coach with Forbes Coaches Council. She was selected as 1 of 3 Community Leaders for the 2018 Obama Foundation Community Leadership Corps in Phoenix, AZ. A. Margot is also an advocate for transracial adoption. She organized and self-funded a 23-city tour when she was 22, has written several interactive workbooks, has been recognized as a Top 40 under 40 leader, Top 35 Millennial Influencer, and has been presented with national merits for her work in bridging generational gaps and leading people into action.
