About

I am a passionate individual, a strategic thinker who works tirelessly to execute. This passion is directed in many different directions which includes training leaders and executives on The Art of Strategic Reaction, a combined approach to Strategic Thinking and Emotional Agility that ensures daily decisions produce the desired long-term impact. The Art of Strategic Reaction is delivered as 1-2 day workshops, a comprehensive 15 module online course, and/or keynotes. I believe that our current systems (and our lives for that matter) are perfectly designed to get the results we’re getting. If we want more profound impacts and better results, we must start with strategy and examine the very systems producing our results. My work is to maximize value creation. Whether you are a corporation seeking to improve the impact on customers or a foundation working to improve collective and individual impacts, my teams of researchers, consultants, analysts, and project managers will give you the direction, tools and capabilities required. With a focus on real capability development, I don’t just consult; I work to increase the strategic IQ and systems thinking of the very leaders and organizations I’m engaged with. I'm by definition a Strategist and a Change Agent. I am an Inc. 5000 Entrepreneur, official member of the Forbes Coaches Council, Contributor to Forbes, The Good Men Project, Thrive Global and Influencive, was name a Top 25 Influencive Influencer 2017, have personally facilitated strategy for more than 100 organizations, have trained over 1500 leaders on Strategic Thinking and Emotional Agility, and have been hired to speak for audiences across the globe.

Spark Policy Institute & Choice Strategy Group

We help the social, public, and private sectors "Do Good, Even Better" through consulting, research, and evaluation. By applying an equity lens to our work, we leverage our Five Pillars of practice which include A Systems Approach, Strategic Thinking, Data-Driven, Adaptive, and Participatory - to truly drive systems level change where needed most. Our consulting, research, and evaluation have provided the insights and direction necessary to make progress on some of the world's most challenging problems. From infant mortality among minority women to juvenile justice approaches, from sustainable fishery practices throughout Africa to health care access for the under-served; we use our Five Pillars of Practice to provide organizations and systems with the insight and direction to move forward in powerful and meaningful ways. While we are researchers, evaluators, and strategists who rely on data, we take an adaptive approach to our work to ensure responsive solutions. Choice Strategy Group is Spark Policy's corporate strategy/management consultancy counterpart. Our focus at Choice Strategy Group is to identify and implement value maximizing strategies. It's not just about the profit, it's about the holistic value your organization is creating. We do this through our unique Absolute Value tools which map out various ways of creating value, their implications, and the current ability of your organization to execute them. We then utilize Confluence Theory to design an integrated approach to delivery that truly maximizes value across profitability, organizational culture, and social/environmental impacts.
