About

Mark is a true Hollywood original, born right in the heart of Tinsel Town and growing up at the corner of Sunset and Gardner. After a stellar school career in which he didn’t finish high school or college, Mark hit the road as a Stage Manager, a vagabond existence which took him around the world. Mark ultimately ran smack into the arena of large scale theatrical magic shows and ended up working with almost every major magician. Soon Mark got a call from a friend who told him that RichFields-Freed, an up and coming commercial agency, was looking for an assistant. He jumped in the car, drove all night, and started a twenty four year career in artist representation. Rich Fields-Freed soon merged with Talent Group Inc. and Mark worked as an on camera commercial agent for the next five years with a brief stint in the voice over department. He was also a liaison between TGI and Elite Model Management. In 1994 he left to work in the commercial department of Special Artists Agency and brought the Elite account with him. Here he leaned the celebrity commercial business as SAA served the clients of CAA in the endorsement world. Six year later, Abrams Artists Agency came calling. Mark took over as Director of On Camera and Voice Over Commercials, with 10 agents working under him in one of the countries business, bi-coastal commercial departments. He was asked to develop talent for the theatrical department and soon oversaw the new media division and the alternative programming department. When Abrams decided to add a dancer and choreographer branch, Mark spearheaded the effort. He was instrumental in getting Abrams into the celebrity endorsement area by representing a lengthy roster of A-List clients. There are very few areas of the business that Mark is not familiar with. Fourteen years after starting at Abrams, he joined Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates as President, buying the company in 2017.

Company bio

Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates is one of the country’s leading bi coastal talent agencies. Consistently ranked in the top 15 of all talent agencies by the Los Angeles Business Journal, KMR has a rich history of over 60 years in the entertainment business. Established in 1957, KMR began as the Wormser agency. Headed by Jack Wormser, the agency grew in size and scope as the first voice over/commercial agency in the country and burgeoned throughout the Golden Age of Television. The sixties brought expansion and two partners, Sandy Joseph and Roger Heldfond. After Jack’s passing, Brian Rix joined the fold and the agency became Joseph, Heldfond and Rix. In 1988 agents Cynthia Kazarian, Pammela Spencer and Don Pitts purchased the agency. Under their guidance, Kazarian/Spencer and Associates enjoyed its most enriching and protracted period of expansion to date as the agency evolved into a company of great diversity. During this time they opened a Youth Department, Dance and Choreography, Stunts and Sports, Print, Film, Television and Theater Divisions as well as an Alternative Television Department representing some of the most iconic game show hosts in TV history. KMR expanded to the East Coast in 2002 with the opening of its New York office. Pamm Spencer retired from the company in 2003, and in 2006 the tradition of promotion from within continued as commercial agent and Vice President Alicia Ruskin became Cindy Kazarian’s partner. In 2013, industry leader Mark Measures joined the agency as partner and President. Mark brought his 25 plus years of entertainment representation experience to the renamed Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates. Facing an ever changing entertainment landscape, KMR remains committed to the fulfillment of the ambitions and dreams of its clients with passion, integrity and personalized attention.
