About

Brian Patrick is a 'unicorn whisperer' for helping Venture Capitalists find successful startups. His biggest success stories including the $1.2 billion Microsoft acquisition of AI search firm, FAST, and a portfolio of disruptive tech launches in FinTech, healthcare, digital media, agritech, and smart-grid construction. He is CTO and co-founder of GREENLIGHT Inc. where he consults with early stage startups and Fortune 100 firms to use AI-as-a-Service and a business simulation lab to overcome their greatest challenges. But what differentiates Patrick from other IT leaders is his passionate synergy between technical innovation and social activism. As a tireless social advocate, Patrick organized a Clinical Trials 'Think-Tank' for the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative in 2005, was a UN Project Management Trainer to support victims of the 2010 Haitian earthquake and was 2016 Finalist of Columbia University's Green Fund for innovation in sustainability and environmental stewardship. Patrick is currently a Startup Mentor for the IBM Watson AI XPRIZE competition, focusing on assisting minority and woman-owned business enterprises that are disproportionately represented in the IT industry. In addition to TV interviews on WPIX-TV 11 and various Podcasts, Patrick has been a technology guest speaker at Nokia Labs, Stevens Alliance for Innovation & Leadership, Microsoft, NYC Software Process Improvement Network, The United Way, and MIPIM Asia. His notable credits include being a Columnist at VendngMachine (Creator of “The DisruptoRs” mini-series) and Co-Producer of an award-winning indie film (Dinner with Ana, 2013).
